Would you like to gain more confidence and experience in cooking vegan food?
During this weekend retreat we will be exploring and cooking some of the great range of delicious, (mostly) healthy, low-cost, easy, varied, colourful, and nutritionally balanced food that a plant-based approach has to offer.
Viryanaya cooks for retreatants and volunteers from all over the world, and her style is rooted in the spirit of abundance and generosity exemplified by the Buddhas of the south, Mamaki and Ratnasambhava.
We will look at menu planning, key ingredients and catering for gluten-free and other restricted diets. There will be meditation & pujas, and the chance to explore the forest garden, including the sacred space at its heart, overlooking the beautiful Towy valley.
