Embodiment is central to the practice of the Middle Way, as the body constantly offers us a bigger context where any obsessive absolute beliefs can be put in perspective. Yoga is a well-established practice of working with the body in a way that develops embodied awareness, as well as being beneficial in many other ways. On this retreat, George Glen (an experienced yoga teacher) will lead yoga sessions, whilst Robert M Ellis will introduce discussion of the role of embodiment and embodied meaning in the Middle Way. As onĀ  all Middle Way Society retreats, there will also be meditation and arts activity, as well as space to enjoy the spring at Tirylan House. Beginners in yoga practice as well as those with more experience will both be welcome.
